PM Modi Unveils ₹3,880 Crore Projects in Varanasi, Critiques Opposition's Power Pursuits

PM Modi addressing the public during the inauguration of development projects in Varanasi.
During his 50th visit to Varanasi since 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for 44 development projects totaling over ₹3,880 crore. These initiatives encompass flyovers, a highway underpass, electricity substations, police accommodations, and sports facilities, aiming to bolster infrastructure and public services in the region.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi expressed his deep connection to Kashi, stating, "Kashi is mine, and I belong to Kashi." He emphasized the transformation of Varanasi over the past decade, highlighting its evolution from an ancient city to a rapidly growing urban center.

In his speech, the Prime Minister also took a dig at opposition parties, accusing them of engaging in "games to grab power" rather than focusing on development. He criticized their approach, suggesting that their primary interest lies in political gains rather than the welfare of the people.
